Packing For Alaska Cruise The Backpack Version!

I got a new backpack from BIAGGI yesterday and was planning to bring it on our trip, but I had no idea just how much it would hold!

You'll be surprised too!!

Let me start by saying that I am the queen of packing light. I hate checking bags, just because I'm super impatient and like to start my vacay the second I step off the plane. My father worked in the baggage department for more than twenty-five years on the ramp, and I have worked as a flight attendant so this is nothing to do with the airlines or safety of checking a bag, it's just me.

This backpack showed up yesterday so I immediately decided to see how much I could bring and huzzah!!, It was a lot!

Yup, all of this fit in there with room to spare.

What's missing? My pants and two dresses, so they will go into the other carry-on, also by Biaggi, with my cruising ducks, a travel hairdryer, a curling iron and two pairs of shoes, and possibly extra workout clothes, but WOW, look at how much that is?

This is; eight long-sleeved shirts. three short-sleeved shirts, two jackets, a wool hat, an iPad, toiletries, a zebra & a bear, a bathing suit, and a workout top, and I had extra room at the top and sides, so one could draw the conclusion if I took out three tops, I could put pants instead.

I rolled all these items and put them in one at a time. I didn't use a packing cube.

Now, I will use my other luggage, pictured at the bottom here in the photo

for the rest and have room to spare for souvenirs. The backpack will fit easily under the seat and the other in the overhead compartment.
